Karachi: FIA Immigration offloaded 9 passengers who were going to beg abroad for the purpose of begging at Multan Airport.


According to the spokesperson of FIA Immigration, the accused were going to Saudi Arabia to beg under the guise of Umrah, the accused tried to go to Saudi Arabia by flight number PA 870.


The FIA ​​spokesman said that according to the initial investigation, the female agent was also accompanying the accused, the accused did not have any hotel booking, there are 6 women and 2 men in this group.


The spokesperson said that the accused were transferred to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Multan for investigation and legal action.


The spokesman further said that strict crackdown is on against elements involved in begging abroad, strict screening of passengers is ongoing, passports of those involved in begging will be blacklisted.
