Bollywood singer AR Rahman, who is popular all over the world, says that at a young age, he suffered from suicidal thoughts.

Speaking to students at the Oxford Union Debating Society on spirituality and mental health, singer AR Rahman said that he had suicidal thoughts at an early age, but it was only his mother, Karima Baig, who dissuaded him from such thoughts.

The singer said that his mother advised him to come out of these thoughts that 'he should learn to live for others, when you live for others, such thoughts will not come', which for me was very beautiful advice.

He further explained to the students that when you live for others and you are not selfish, your life has a meaning. Whether you are writing for someone, writing for something, buying food for someone who can't afford it or smiling at someone, these are the things that keep us alive because We know very little about the future.

He further said that we have come in this world for a short time and then we have to leave this world, there is no permanent abode, then where we are going to go, we do not know and it depends on each person's own beliefs.

It should be noted that singer AR Rahman's famous songs include 'Maan Tujhe Salaam', 'Raanjhana', 'Jashan Bahara' and others, while he recently sang the popular song 'Mein Parwana' from the Bollywood film 'Peeppa'. ' has also been composed by singer Arjit Singh.
