Broadcasting of Cyphercase proceedings in print, electronic and social media is completely banned
Photo: FileRawalpindi: The Special Official Secrets Act Court has imposed a complete ban on broadcasting the proceedings of the cipher case on print, electronic and social media.
The Official Secrets Act Special Court has issued an order according to which no proceedings of the cipher case will be broadcast on print, electronic and social media.
The court has directed PEMRA and PTA to implement these instructions.
The court says that if there is any violation, it will be processed under the Official Secrets Act, PEMRA and PTA should be given a copy of the court order so that there is no future violation.
The court also accepted the prosecution's request to conduct an in-camera trial of the cipher case.
According to the order of the special court, the family of the founder PTI and Shah Mahmood Qureshi will be present in the court conditionally, there will be a condition that the family members will not describe the court proceedings anywhere, the public will not be present during the trial proceedings.
