A fire broke out in an oil depot located near the coast in Kantani area of Jiwani Tehsil of Gwadar.
According to Levies sources, in the incident of fire in the oil depot located near the coast in Kantani, 2 people were burnt and injured, who were shifted to the hospital.
2 depots and 6 oil tankers were damaged in the fire, 4 speedboats used in oil delivery were also damaged in the fire incident, but there was no loss of life, rescue teams are trying to control the fire.
Initially it is being reported that the fire was caused by a short circuit in the generator, further investigation is on.
It should be noted that the area of Jiwani, Kantani, is the area where oil is brought from the neighboring country of Iran by speedboats.
