State Bank announced monetary policy, interest rate kept at 22%

The State Bank of Pakistan has announced the monetary policy for the next 2 months.


According to the statement issued by the State Bank, it has been decided to maintain the interest rate at 22 percent.


According to the State Bank, inflation will continue to decrease in the second half.


State Bank says preliminary estimates of Kharif crop are encouraging.


According to the State Bank, there will be risks to the current account deficit due to fluctuations in oil prices and gas prices.
