Amir Raza Bitu, Duty Judicial Magistrate in District Kachhari Lahore, heard the case against Chaudhry Pervez Elahi for alleged corruption in the recruitment of Punjab Assembly.
The anti-corruption lawyer told the court that Pervez Elahi's mobile phone has not been recovered yet, the investigating officer has to recover the mobile phone and get it forensically conducted.
The lawyer claimed that 41 lakh rupees have been recovered from Parvez Elahi's house, it is to be ascertained how much money went to the co-accused, the former chief minister has 2 houses, one is in Lahore and the other is in Gujarat, he had to be taken to Gujarat. , the preparations were complete but his condition worsened and he was taken to the doctor.
It was requested by the lawyer that Parvaiz Elahi has to go to his house in Gujarat, so he should be remanded for another 10 days.
During the hearing, Parvez Elahi came to the rostrum and said that I am 77 years old, I have had 3 heart stents, I have difficulty in walking, I also came to know about recovery in the court room.
Later, the court rejected the anti-corruption's request for physical remand and sent Parvez Elahi to jail on judicial remand.
