KARACHI: The Sindh Minister of Local Government has said that various agencies give permission for road digging in Karachi and there is no coordination among these agencies.


A meeting of Sindh Solid Waste Management was held under the chairmanship of the Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh, in which MD Solid Waste Management Imtiaz Shah briefed the Caretaker Chief Minister and told that 12 different agencies are doing cleaning work and Solid Waste Management is only in Karachi, Hyderabad, Qasimabad. , working in Kotri, Larkana and Sukkur.


In the briefing, Imtiaz Shah said that sanitation is done by private companies in Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana and Sukkur, on which the caretaker chief minister said that Karachi is not clean at the moment and the sanitation system in the central district is not at all right while that of Sindh. I will also review the cleanliness situation in other cities.


On this occasion, the caretaker chief minister directed the solid waste management to set up a weekly inspection system.


Chief Minister Sindh decided to give Municipal Magistrate to KMC under which the Municipal Magistrate will have the authority to fine those who throw garbage.


During the meeting, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab said about the dilapidated roads of the city that the digging of roads is also a serious problem of the city. I do not coordinate.
