The sudden retirement announcement of the Afghan bowler included in the World Cup squad

The young fast bowler, who is part of the Afghan team for the World Cup, which will start in India a few days later, has announced his retirement from one-day cricket.

 

The 24-year-old Afghan fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq, who made a comeback after more than two years and made a place in the one-day team, surprised everyone by announcing his retirement from one-day cricket after the World Cup.

 

In a statement released on social media Naveen ul Haq wrote that it is a matter of pride to represent my country but I will retire from ODI cricket after the World Cup but I will remain available to my team for T20 cricket.

 

The young fast bowler further wrote that it is a very difficult decision but to prolong his career, a big thank you to the Afghan Cricket Board and all the fans for their support.

 

Apart from international cricket, Naveen-ul-Haq also plays in various T20 leagues around the world including PSL, Big Bash, Lankan Premier League and IPL.
