Tik Tok is now truly ready to take on YouTube, the world's most popular video sharing service.

The Chinese social media app is testing a feature to upload 30-minute long videos.

It should be noted that Tik Tok gained rapid popularity across the world through videos of a few seconds.

Actually, other businesses like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others have been compelled to implement the capability of short videos because to the widespread use of this video sharing software.

While other companies are focusing more on short videos, TikTok is now ready to make longer videos a part of its platform.

Matt Navarra, a well-known leaker of social media services, spoke about the increase in the duration of Tik Tok videos.

They discovered this option in the iOS beta version of TikTok for the UK.

He said during an interview that some users have also seen this option in the Android beta version of Tik Tok.

This has not been confirmed by the company yet.

A 10-minute long video can now be posted on Tik Tok.

TikTok has gradually increased the length of videos from 15 seconds to 60 seconds in July 2021 and 3 minutes in February 2022.

It should be noted that the feature of posting 15-minute long videos was also started by TikTok a few months ago.

This was also confirmed by the company stating that this new feature is being tested among limited users in certain regions.

Extended videos can aid producers in maximizing less striking content because of time constraints.

The company expects that increasing the duration of videos will help attract creators who currently prefer to post their content to YouTube.

It is not yet clear when the feature of posting 30-minute long videos will be available to all users.
