The list of election symbols of political parties continues, the name of PTI is not included

The Election Commission has sent the list of election symbols of political parties to the Returning Officers (ROs).


The Election Commission has sent a letter to the returning officers of the National and Provincial Assemblies, in which the list of election symbols of 145 political parties has been sent to the returning officers.


The names of more than 12 political parties, including Tehreek-e-Insaaf, are not in the list with election symbols, the symbols of these political parties have been withheld due to not conducting intra-party elections.


Pakistan People's Party parliamentarian has been allotted an arrow, Pakistan Muslim League-N has been allotted a lion symbol, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ideological has been allotted a bat symbol.


Stabilization Pakistan Party has got the eagle symbol, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan has been allotted the kite symbol, Jamiat Ulema Islam Pakistan has been allotted the book symbol, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has been given the scales symbol.


In the post, the Election Commission has said that the respective election symbols should be allotted to the nominated candidates of the political parties, the election symbols of the political parties should not be given to any independent candidate.


A list of separate election symbols for independent candidates has been sent to the Returning Officers.


The Election Commission has directed that election symbols other than those in the list should not be given to the candidates.
