The petroleum product price adjustment has the approval of the prime minister.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification to change the prices of petroleum products.
Petrol and diesel prices will remain unchanged for the next 15 days.
According to the notification, the price of petrol per liter has been maintained at 267 rupees 34 paisa from January 1, the price of diesel will also be maintained at 276 rupees 21 paise.
It has been approved to reduce the price of kerosene by Rs 2.19 paise per litre.
Apart from this, it has been approved to increase the price of light diesel oil by one rupee and 11 paise.
