The acceptance of papers of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif from NA 130 Lahore has been challenged and an appeal has been filed in the Election Tribunal.


An appeal against the approval of Nawaz Sharif's nomination papers was filed by the head of Pakistan Awami Mahaz, Ishtiaq Chaudhry, Advocate.



The appellant has taken the stand that Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified by the Supreme Court for life, he is not eligible to contest the election, the returning officer approved the papers of Nawaz Sharif contrary to the facts.
