MQM offers 3 seats to PML-N in Karachi, deadlock remains on NA-242

KARACHI: The next phase of talks between MQM-Pakistan and Pakistan Muslim League-N (Pakistan Muslim League-N) negotiation committee regarding seat-adjustment in general elections will be held till Wednesday.


Members of both sides of the negotiating committee formed by the central leadership say that we have reached the seat adjustment, the good political relationship between us is very stable.


MQM has offered three National Assembly seats from Karachi to PML-N in return for NA-242, including two from Malir and one from Lyari.



However, the deadlock remains between the two parties on NA-242, from which Muslim League (N) president Shehbaz Sharif and MQM Pakistan's Mustafa Kamal are candidates from their respective parties.
