"Kill or Die"
photo fileIf I have to choose between Pakistan and democracy, my life is sacrificed for Pakistan. If Pakistan survives, if not today, then tomorrow, democracy will surely be a blessing. For a long time, if the civil-military relations in the Kingdom of God-father Islam were to be established on any level, it would be possible only through mutual understanding and collective thinking and mental harmony of the military leadership.
There are 2 examples of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. The rise and fall of Sheikh Mujib and its end are detailed, Mujib enlisted the help of India to humiliate the establishment and made it a priority to break Pakistan. On the other hand, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had to lose his life in a similar conflict, the country was not targeted, Pakistan was saved. In 1988, false true democracy was also found and the first woman, Bhutto's daughter, became the Prime Minister.
Since 2015 and continuously since 2018, I have been writing that the situation is heading towards political instability and we should not suffer the consequences like 1971. There is no doubt that the absence of democracy is the cause of the tragedy of East Pakistan or the political expansion and all kinds of conflicts in the rest of the provinces today. In Great Britain (Scotland, Ireland) while Quebec (CUBEC) in Canada and several dozen separatist movements in India could not flourish due to democracy.
On January 7, 1951, Pakistan Army came into being. The first Commander-in-Chief turned out to be selfish. In order for General Ayub to continue his rule, the kingdom was plunged into political instability for the next 73 years. From the very beginning of the establishment, personal interests became a priority, weakening of professional skills was inevitable. The first tragedy was the separation of East Pakistan, while the loss of Kashmir was the logical end. What should we learn from the tragedy of East Pakistan? After five and a half years, the Bhutto government was overthrown. The fight could have taken the form of a political party versus the military establishment. Fortunately, the understanding and wisdom of the leadership of the People's Party came in handy. If Benazir had not fought a political battle and had not made a political compromise with the establishment, the People's Party would have been a thing of the past today. On April 10, 1986, after seeing Benazir Bhutto's exemplary reception in Kolhaur, it seemed that Benazir would win 90% of the seats. When the general elections were held in 1988, the People's Party definitely got power, far from a simple majority.
Unfortunately, Imran's party and its social media handlers have lost touch. "Minus Imran Khan, NO Pakistan" has made it his priority. Imran Khan's Noor Bisarat is making public "I am not, then Pakistan is not". Even if the elections are held on February 8, the chances of getting a seat for Imran Khan Tigers will be limited. While Gauhar Ali Khan's Tehreek-e-Insaf has certainly moved under the influence of the establishment, I fear that whatever the outcome of the election, things are sure to get out of hand. Imran Khan's popularity is not enough for votes, the support of enemy forces is there in abundance to spread chaos. In the name of popularity, he made 2 long marches, attacked military installations in the country on May 9, tried many skills to get the lost power. Every effort met with humiliating failure. Two examples are enough to show the popularity. On May 25 and November 26, 2022, a sea of millions was expected, they also took an oath, but finally had to settle for a few thousand. It was well known that there was not enough support for pressure. Since then, the belief that the ultimate way to take revenge on the establishment is to destabilize Pakistan.
Accepting with a heavy heart that the real responsibility of today's trouble is the establishment. Hard work has brought the state to this state. Characters like Imran Khan, the creation and credit of the establishment, always proved lethal. General Bajwa's grave crime, the killing of Imran Khan in April 2022 was "Sharia" permissible and even possible. He decided to keep the power so that the Shahbaz government can be sent home by applying pressure or it can be used for expansion. Absolute certainty, long march, procession, Arshad Sharif's murder, murderous attack on Imran Khan, all are a link of the same chain. Shehbaz was to topple the government, which proved to be helpful in strengthening Imran Khan.
Ironically, from April 10 to the return of the "bat" sign, the more disciplinary measures he took, the more Imran's political influence grew. As many measures as possible. Today, Imran's stay in jail is a profitable deal. Even if the election is held on February 8, it is likely that the results will turn out contrary to the plan. There will not even be time to shake hands. Nawaz Sharif's hesitancy in becoming the prime minister and running an election campaign is understandable. Imran Khan is seeing the weakening of the establishment if he loses the election or if there is no election. Such a dream may be about Pakistan's enemy countries, it is a doomsday scenario for patriotic Pakistanis.
Believing that when there will be a truly popular and wise leadership, instead of clashing with the establishment, the skills of understanding will be tried, then it will be possible to do so, there is nothing but destruction in clashing with the establishment. Can breaking Pakistan be allowed in the name of democracy in the current situation? no way . If Pakistan does not exist or becomes weak, this time, not the Bangladesh model, but the Kashmir or Hyderabad (Deccan) model will come forward. Pakistan remains, if not today, then tomorrow, the establishment will get rid of it.
The example of Turkey is before us. 107 years ago, the army liberated Turkey and then for 80 years, the Turkish army was the master of the black and white of the country that the constitution had registered its strong position in Turkey. Then, a visionary leader like Tayyab Erdogan became lucky. Understanding, dealing with understanding freed the Turkish system from the clutches of the establishment without conflict. Introduced Turkey to the boom. Today, it is among the 20 most developed countries in the world, while in 2002, Turkey's situation was worse than Pakistan.
I don't want such a democracy which threatens the integrity of Pakistan to achieve it. Today, Pakistan and democracy have come to a standstill. I seek refuge in Allah from such a democracy. Pakistan is saved, maybe I will not survive, God willing, someone like Quaid-e-Azam or Erdogan will definitely come and bring real true democracy, make a strong and brilliant Pakistan.
