Israel's bombing of Gaza as the New Year begins, many Palestinians martyred
Israeli forces bombarded Gaza at the beginning of the new year, resulting in the martyrdom of many Palestinians.
The Zionist troops unleashed a flurry of attacks on Gaza on New Year's Day, 2023, while the Palestinians met Israeli aggression, according to the Arab media. A brutal ground fight is still raging in the city of Khan Yunis.
Furthermore, late at night, Israeli forces shelled the eastern Gazan district of Zaytoun, causing numerous Palestinian casualties and martyrdoms.
Media reports state that the Israeli army also conducted drone attacks on a house in the central Gazan camp of Maghazi, injuring numerous civilians, including children, and injuring several Palestinians during an operation on a residence in the Nasirat refugee camp.
The Israeli military reportedly carried out operations in multiple locations throughout the West Bank late at night, including Jenin Camp and the city of Nablus, according to Arab media.
In contrast, Palestinians commemorated the martyrs of the Israeli onslaught during a rally in Ramallah at the start of the new year.
