At least 103 people were killed and more than 200 injured in 2 explosions near the tomb of former General Qassem Soleimani in the Iranian city of Kerman on Wednesday.
According to Iranian media, on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of former Iranian commander General Qassem Soleimani, two bags full of explosives were placed at the entrance of the cemetery near his tomb.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has condemned the blasts in Kerman and said that the enemies have once again caused destruction and martyred a large number of people.
He also prayed for the forgiveness of those who died in the blasts and the speedy recovery of the injured.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has also issued a written statement condemning the blasts in Kerman, vowing to bring those responsible for the cowardly attack to justice.
In a statement, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said, "Undoubtedly, the perpetrators of this cowardly act will be identified soon and they will be severely punished. Our enemies should know that such actions violate the firm resolve of the Iranian nation." Can never impress.
