In interbank rupee appreciation, dollar became cheaper

Despite the tension on Pakistan's south-west border, the rupee continued to appreciate.


According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the rate of the dollar at the close of business in the interbank exchange is 279 rupees 98 paise.


In the interbank exchange, the price of the dollar has decreased by 12 paise today.


The dollar closed at 280 rupees 10 paisa in the Interbank yesterday. The dollar has decreased by 37 paise in four business days this week from 280 rupees 35 paisa at the end of last business week.
