Disclosure of power transmission system in the country without SOPs
ISLAMABAD: The investigation into the worst power breakdown in the country's history has been completed after a year, according to which the power transmission system is being operated without SOPs.
According to the document, the investigation committee report put the entire responsibility of the breakdown on 4 junior officers.
2 Deputy Managers, a Shift Incharge and a Manager Power Control Center have been held responsible for the breakdown.
In the committee report, it has been revealed that the electricity transmission system worth 3 thousand billion rupees is running without SOPs.
It may be noted that after the nationwide breakdown of January 23, 2023, it took about 20 hours to restore the power transmission system.
The federal cabinet had directed action against those responsible for the worst power breakdown.
