Supreme Court Judicial Assistant Reema Umar submitted her reply in the court in the case of interpretation of Article 62 1F.


In response, Reema Umar said that Section 232 cannot be included in the Election Act in the light of Supreme Court's Samiullah Baloch decision, however, the Supreme Court's 7-member bench can review the decision of Samiullah Baloch's 5-member bench.


He said that the decision of the Supreme Court in the Samiullah Baloch case cannot be upheld according to the constitution, this decision violated the fundamental rights.



Supreme Court Judicial Assistant Reema Umar said that the judicial decision in the Samiullah Baloch case created a conflict between the moral guidelines and legal requirements, this decision created a conflict between the provisions of Article 62 1F and Article 63.


It should be noted that the Supreme Court reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of the lawyers in the case of interpretation of Article 62 1F of the Constitution.


The case of interpretation of Article 62 1F of the Constitution is being heard by a 7-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa. , Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Musrat Hilali are also included.
