For the first time in more than 50 years, an American space mission has been launched to land on the moon.

This mission has been sent by private companies instead of NASA, the official space agency of the United States.

The lander of another business, Astrobiotic Technologies, was launched from Florida using a United Launch Alliance rocket.

The spacecraft was propelled to the moon by the rocket, and on February 23 it will make an attempt to land there.

The goal of Astrobiotic is to become the first commercial enterprise to accomplish a successful moon landing.

So far, only 4 countries have been able to do this, including the US, Russia, China and India.

This is the first American lunar landing attempt since 1972.

NASA allocated millions of dollars to these two enterprises with the goal of establishing US traction on the moon in 2023, as other nations have already made significant progress in this area.

The US space agency is hoping that the mission would revitalize NASA's attempts to explore the moon.

It should be noted that NASA will send humans to the moon through the Artemis 3 mission in 2025.

Additionally, this is the long-delayed Vulcan rocket's first test launch.

In February, SpaceX will try to land a private company's lander on the moon within a week.

Astrobiotic's lander contains various objects such as rock fragments from Mount Everest, toy vehicles and the ashes and DNA of various people.
