New Zealand cricket team captain Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the T20 series against Pakistan.


According to media reports, Kane Williamson suffered a hamstring injury in the second T20 match, after which it is now being told that Kane Williamson will not take part in the series against Pakistan and will be replaced by Tim Seifert.


It should be noted that Kane Williamson was not to play the third match in Dunedin due to rest, Kane Williamson was supposed to return to the team in Christchurch.


New Zealand coach Gary Stead says that Kane Williamson is unlikely to play in the series.


Gary Stead says that the Test series against South Africa is very close, no risk can be taken regarding Kane Williamson.


New Zealand has a two-nil lead in the series against Pakistan, the third T20 match of the series will be played in Dunedin on Wednesday.
