260 Pakistan flights canceled in the first week of the year, many affected

35 flights were canceled in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today due to fog.


4 flights from Jeddah to Multan, Dubai, Sialkot and Dubai to Lahore landed at alternate airports.


13 flights from Peshawar to Jeddah, Riyadh, Muscat, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi were cancelled, Dubai to Sialkot flight EK 618 returned to Dubai without landing for the third time.



In the first week of the year, 260 flights to Pakistan were canceled and many flights were affected.


PIA flight from Jeddah to Multan was diverted to Lahore, Dubai Sialkot flight EK 618 could not land, had to land back in Dubai.


PIA flight PK204 from Dubai to Lahore landed in Islamabad, Islamabad to Doha PK287, Dubai PK233, Muscat PK292 were cancelled.


PIA flight PK 144 from Islamabad, PK 262 to Abu Dhabi were cancelled, Islamabad to Sukkur PK 631 and 632 to Karachi PF 123 were cancelled.


Sialkot Dubai PK 619, Peshawar Muscat PK 259 and 260 cancelled, Peshawar Abu Dhabi PK 217, 218, Doha PK 285 and 286 cancelled.


Lahore to Kuala Lumpur PK 898 and 899, Dubai PK 235 cancelled, Abu Dhabi to Lahore flight EY 241, Lahore Quetta PK 322 and 323 cancelled, Lahore to Karachi ER 522 and 523 Multan to Sharjah PK 293, 294 Multan to Riyadh PK 765 and 766 to Jeddah PK 940 were also cancelled.
