Dubai: The United Arab Emirates has announced the establishment of a $30 billion climate fund to address global climate change issues.


Speaking at the opening session of the World Climate Conference COP 28, the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, announced the establishment of a $30 billion climate fund, saying that the climate fund is for solving the problems of global climate change.


Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the Climate Fund, established to fill the climate finance gap, aims to encourage investment of 250 billion dollars by 2030.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, speaking at the COP 28 conference, said that we are miles away from the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. The Paris climate agreement is far from over, but it's not too late. Fossil fuel companies don't double down on outdated business models, governments end fossil fuel subsidies and adopt windfall taxes on profits.


Antonio Guterres said that to deal with the effects of climate change, we have to work on an emergency basis and developed countries have to revise the climate policy, we have to protect the earth by stopping the emission of greenhouse gases, and will have to provide pollution-free renewable energy to the world, legislate for carbon and waste control.


King Charles presented a plan to tackle climate change and improve the future of the environment


British King Charles while addressing the conference said that climate change is a dangerous problem for future generations, the world considered a big problem in the Paris Agreement, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other developing countries had to face the worst floods. Pakistan suffered the dangerous consequences of climate change, due to floods, Pakistan had to bear heavy losses.


He said that in the future, zero carbon policy will have to be adopted and the world will have to move towards green technology. Billions of dollars are needed to reduce environmental pollution, 4.5 trillion dollars are needed annually to combat climate change. Along with the governments, private companies and other institutions will also have to provide assistance.
