Karachi: Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh has expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of Sindh Food Authority.

A meeting of the Food Authority was held under the chairmanship of the Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqer in which Chief Secretary Dr. Fakhar Alam, Secretary Food Nasir Abbas and other officials including DG Food Authority participated.

DG Food Authority told the meeting in a briefing that about 100 raids are conducted daily, on which the Chief Minister asked that if raids are conducted then why is the condition of the kitchen not improving? Food authority neither checks food nor water, I am not satisfied with the performance of food authority.

The caretaker chief minister said that most of the restaurants in the city are in a bad condition, the refrigerators in the restaurants are dirty and rats are running in them, the food authority is neither checking nor improving.

The Caretaker Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to improve the performance of the Food Authority.
