The Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has been appointed as the new Ameer of Kuwait.

According to Kuwaiti media, the Kuwaiti cabinet has appointed 83-year-old Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as the new Ameer.

The Kuwaiti Cabinet has also announced 40 days of mourning, expressing deep sorrow and grief over the death of Sheikh Nawaf Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in addition to this, all government institutions of the country will be closed for three days.

It should be noted that Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Ameer of Kuwait, died today, he was 86 years old.

Ameer Kuwait was admitted to the hospital in November last month due to health problems.

The condition of Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Ameer of Kuwait, was not explained.

Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah became the Ameer of Kuwait in 2020 after the death of Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad.

The nominated Ameer of Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is the half-brother of the late Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad.
