KARACHI: The Sindh High Court today issued an order to file a case against the officers and builders of the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA).

Sindh High Court heard a case against illegal construction in Nazimabad, in which the judge expressed anger at the SBCA officers and lawyers.

The court said that there is a nexus of builders, mafias and SBCA, the city has become a concrete jungle due to the incompetence of SBCA, SBCA has become the most corrupt institution of Sindh province.

The court said that the people of SBCA themselves do not want to take action against illegal constructions, first illegal constructions are allowed to happen in the city, then when it is their turn to demolish them, they give up.

The court today ordered to file a case against the builder and SBCA officers, while asking for a report on January 15 on illegal floor demolition in Nazimabad C One.
