Kohistan: Killing of a girl in the name of honor, police arrested the deceased's uncle
A fugitive uncle was arrested on the charge of murdering a girl in Kolai Pals area of Kohistan.
Photos of two girls belonging to Kolai Pals district bordering Kohistan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were viral on Facebook with a boy's ID, on which the family got angry and killed the girl in the name of honor.
It was told by the police that one other relative including father, uncle was involved in the murder of the girl, later the police investigated the photo and found that the photo was edited.
According to the police, while taking action, the fugitive uncle has been arrested on the charge of killing the girl, who has been handed over to the police on a 4-day physical remand by the court.
It should be noted that the news of the girl's murder came out on November 27 when the pictures went viral.
