The husband of the woman who died in police firing in Bilal Colony area of ​​Karachi has forgiven the police officers.

It should be noted that a woman was killed during a police encounter in Bilal Colony, New Karachi last night.

According to the police officials, 2 suspects riding a motorcycle were robbing a citizen in New Karachi Bilal Colony Sector 5D. In the meantime, the policemen on patrol reached there, on seeing the policemen, the accused opened fire, on which one of the accused was injured by the retaliatory firing of the policemen, while his accomplice escaped from the spot.

According to police officials, a woman, identified as Hamida, was killed in the exchange of fire. The woman had come to a nearby medical store with her husband.

After the incident, 4 officers of Shaheen Force who participated in the competition were detained, out of which two were released after investigation, while Constable Rohan Saeed and Ali Raza were formally arrested.

Later, the victim's husband, Rafiq, forgave the police officers who fired.

In his statement, Rafiq said that the officers who fired were orphans, so they were forgiven and no case would be filed against them.

 Rafiq said that the police cooperated with us, the officials were locked up, the higher authorities are requested to deploy trained officials on the streets.
