Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi charged in cipher case

The indictment against founder PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi was pronounced by the judge of the Special Court of Official Secrets Act Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain.
Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi denied the health crime.
FIA Special Prosecutors Shah Khawar and Zulfikar Abbas Naqvi appeared in the court, founder PTI's lawyer Usman Gul and Shah Mahmood Qureshi's lawyer Barrister Taimur Malik appeared in the court.
After the indictment of the accused, the regular trial of the cipher case will begin in Adiala Jail.
Yesterday, the lawyer of founder PTI, Barrister Salman Safdar, alleged that there was no open trial in the cipher case and said that the selected media had been called in, on which the judge of the special court said that he would look into the matter.
The pleas were discussed in the court yesterday after which the court fixed December 13 as the date for indictment.
The court disposed of 6 separate petitions related to copy of challan, notification and media access.
