Illegal foreigners are seriously affecting Pakistan's security and economy: Army Chief
The nation is proud of the performance of the armed forces, the Pakistan Army will continue to perform the duty of protecting the motherland till the last drop of blood: General Asim Munir/File PhotoRawalpindi: Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that illegal foreigners are seriously affecting the security and economy of Pakistan and such illegal foreigners are being sent back to their countries in an honorable manner.
According to the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Asim Munir visited Peshawar where he was received by Corps Commander Peshawar.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief also met the officers and soldiers who showed bravery in various counter-terrorism operations and appreciated their unparalleled performance. On this occasion, General Asim Munir was briefed on the overall security situation, anti-terrorism operations, and the progress of socio-economic development in the newly merged districts, including the repatriation of illegal foreigners.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief, in his address to the participants of the National Workshop organized for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that the nation is proud of the performance of the armed forces, the Pakistan Army will continue to perform the duty of protecting the motherland till the last drop of blood.
Highlighting the importance of economic development in the newly merged districts, the Army Chief said that success is the destiny of Pakistan, the nefarious intentions of the enemy forces are being thwarted through a comprehensive strategy.
General Asim Munir said that the government took the decision to return the illegal foreigners in the wider interest of Pakistan. Illegal foreigners are affecting the security and economy of Pakistan. Illegal aliens are being respectfully returned to their countries.
