Fear of LPG crisis in winter, ships coming to Pakistan diverted to Sri Lanka

There is fear of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) crisis in winter.


Speaking to the media in Lahore, Chairman LPG Dealers Association Irfan Khokhar said that there is a fear of LPG crisis in winter.


He said that two LPG ships coming to Pakistan have gone to Sri Lanka, through these ships 21 thousand tons of LPG was supposed to arrive.


He said that there is a monthly requirement of one and a half lakh tons of LPG in the country.


Irfan Khokhar demanded that the government should immediately take steps to solve the gas shortage.


He said that due to shortage of LPG, the price is also likely to increase.
