The sit-in by the relatives of Baloch youth killed in an alleged encounter by CTD in Turbat and the members of Baloch Solidarity Committee continued on the Sariab Road in Quetta for the second day.

The people who started the long march from Turbat on December 6 reached Quetta on Monday night, however, as they were not allowed to enter the red zone of Quetta, the participants of the long march are staging a sit-in near Gahi Khan Chowk on Sariab Road.

The relatives of Balach Moola Bakhsh, who died in the alleged encounter, the Baloch Solidarity Committee and the families of the missing persons are also participating in the sit-in.

The participants demand that a judicial investigation be conducted into the killing of Halak Balach in the alleged encounter in Turbat.

On the other hand, in view of the long march and sit-in, the administration has closed the red zone in the city by parking containers and trucks, due to which the flow of traffic on Zarghun Road and surrounding roads is affected.
