Cipher case hearing in Adiala Jail, 6 media representatives allowed to go

Rawalpindi: The Adiala Jail administration allowed 6 media representatives to watch the proceedings of the cipher case.


Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of the Official Secret Act Special Court in Adiala Jail is hearing the cipher case against former Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi in which Babar Awan appeared in the court on behalf of the accused while NAB. Prosecutor Zulfikar Abbas will give arguments.


On reaching Adiala Jail, the NAB prosecutor told the media representatives that today the copies of the challan of Cyphercase will be distributed among the accused, after today's hearing, there will be a break of one week in the trial of Cyphercase.


On the occasion of the hearing, Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi has also reached the court while Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood are present in the court.


6 media representatives have been allowed to watch the court proceedings by the jail administration.


It should be noted that the previous hearing of the cipher case was adjourned without any proceedings in which even the media representatives were not allowed to enter.
