Indian actress Gauhar Khan along with actress Ushna Shah and several social media users have criticized the famous international fashion brand 'Zara' for its insensitive photo shoot.


Ushna Shah, who is bold and vocal in every issue, while reacting to Zara's recent photo shoot, asked that those people who have Zara brand clothes, should they throw away all the clothes?


The actress condemned the brand's recent campaign and tweeted on social media site X, Aishna wrote, 'Should we throw away our existing Zara clothes or not buy new ones?'



"Since their clothes don't have their brand name on them, I don't think we should throw away their clothes that we already have," she said.


At the same time, the actress wrote 'Obviously, I will definitely not buy clothes from their brand again'.


Ashna Shah also used the Boycott Zara hashtag which is currently top trending on X (formerly Twitter) in Pakistan.


Why is boycott trending at Zara?


The actress' tweet came after Zara's photoshoot caught the attention of social media users for being highly sensitive, allegedly showing tiny bodies wrapped in white cloths similar to Muslim burials. In addition, this photo shoot shows the helpless situation of the Palestinians.


It showed heaps of debris, statues of missing limbs, etc., which has created an uproar on social media, with people expressing outrage.

Apart from Ishna Shah, actress Mishi Khan also criticized the Zara brand and vowed never to buy their clothes again.


Mishi said that these people should be ashamed for making fun of innocent Palestinians.


On the other hand, a user named Alexander described this photo shoot as sad and said, 'I am very surprised that these people are using the genocide of people in Palestine for their campaign. I will never, ever buy anything from Zara'.

Apart from this, Indian actress Gauhar Khan, who has been raising her voice for Palestine for the past several days, also reacted to this photo shoot and commented under the photos on Zara's verified Instagram account.
