In a statement, the Election Commission said that the PTI Chairman's allegations are a failed attempt to mislead the people.
According to Election Commission, DROs and ROs were appointed, training of DROs and ROs was also started across the country, training of DROs and ROs is necessary before the election schedule, training is necessary. so that nomination papers can be issued and received as soon as the schedule is announced.
The Election Commission says that PTI challenged the appointment of DROs and ROs, considered the situation after the suspension of the appointment of DROs and ROs, and the future course of action will be decided soon.
The Election Commission also says that the Election Commission cannot be held responsible for the current situation.
Apart from this, the spokesperson of the Election Commission has said in a statement that the Election Commission is following a comprehensive plan regarding the conduct of transparent elections, all the goals regarding the conduct of the elections are being completed on time.
It should be noted that yesterday the Lahore High Court suspended the Election Commission's notification to hold elections from "Administrative Officers" while accepting PTI's request.
The court also referred the matter to the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court for making a larger bench.
Following the court order, the Election Commission today sent emergency letters to the Election Commissioners of Punjab, Sindh, KP and Balochistan and stopped the training of returning officers and other staff.
Due to this situation, there is a fear that the election process will go sour, because according to the constitution, the election schedule has to be announced 54 days in advance, i.e. tomorrow.
