6 women involved in drug trafficking from different cities arrested
Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested 6 women involved in drug trafficking from different cities.
According to ANF, more than 26 kg of drugs have been recovered from women arrested in 5 operations who are involved in inter-provincial and international drug trafficking.
The ANF spokesperson said that the women were found to be associated with various drug trafficking gangs.
According to the spokesperson, 87 capsules filled with heroin were recovered from the stomach of a woman while carrying out an operation at Allama Iqbal International Airport, while a woman and a man were arrested at Multan Airport and 855 grams of ice was recovered from their bag.
According to ANF, another operation was conducted at Allama Iqbal International Airport in which 1.942 kg of ice was recovered from the woman's bag, while 22.8 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of 2 women in Orangi Town.
ANF further informed that the woman was arrested at Chongi No. 26 near Islamabad and 750 grams of hashish and ice were recovered.
