190 million pound case: NAB filed a reference against Imran and Bushra Bibi

Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a reference against Imran Khan and his wife and others in the 190 million pound case.


NAB has filed a reference in Islamabad's Accountability Court against Chairman PTI in the 190 million pound scam in which other accused have also been named.


In the reference filed by NAB Rawalpindi, the names of 8 accused are included, including Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi, Farah Gogi, former adviser on accountability Shahzad Akbar, Imran Khan's close associate Zulfi Bukhari and barrister Zia-ul-Mustafa.


Deputy Prosecutor General of NAB Muzaffar Abbasi filed a reference along with investigating officer Umar Nadeem, which has been investigated by the Accountability Court Registrar's Office.


It should be noted that Chairman PTI Imran Khan, imprisoned in Adiala Jail, has been arrested by NAB in this case as well and the Federal Cabinet has approved the jail trial of other corruption cases including cipher.
