Lahore: Pakistan's Test team for the tour of Australia is expected to be announced in a couple of days.
According to the sources, the names of the players for the Test squad were considered and Pakistan's 16-member team is likely to go to Australia.
Sources say that Pakistan's possible squad includes Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Saeem Ayub, Abdullah Shafiq, Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali and Faheem Ashraf.
According to sources, Khurram Shehzad, Mir Hamza, Abrar Ahmed, Amir Jamal, Saud Shakeel, Agha Salman, Muhammad Rizwan, Sarfraz Ahmed and Imamul Haq will also be part of the possible squad.
Pakistan cricket team will play a three-test series in Australia, the test series will be played next month and the first test between the two teams will be played from December 14.
