RIYADH: The Saudi and US foreign ministers had a telephone conversation to discuss ways of ending the ceasefire in Gaza.

In a conversation with his American counterpart, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said that dangerous military operations are being carried out in Gaza, a humanitarian ceasefire should be held in Gaza and adjacent areas, and aid operations should be started in war-torn areas.

The Saudi foreign minister said that the medical aid to the wounded in Gaza should be restored immediately, rejecting the forced displacement of the Palestinian people from Gaza, and the international community should play a role in stopping Israel's illegal actions.

Shahzad Faisal bin Farhan said that the resolutions of the Security Council should be implemented for the establishment of peace, and the international community should play a moral role for the ceasefire in Gaza.
