WhatsApp introduced a feature called Channels in June 2023, which was initially limited to a few countries, but in September, it was rolled out to users worldwide, including Pakistan.

Users can get updates on their favorite personalities, sports and other topics through channels.

Text, photos, videos, stickers and polls etc. are shared with people at large through channels.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive of Meta, the number of people using WhatsApp channels has crossed 50 million in just 7 weeks.

He made this announcement while introducing a new feature for the channels in the form of stickers.

Stickers feature can only be used by channel admins to make their channel look better.

Note that you can also create your own WhatsApp channel.

For this purpose, open WhatsApp in the phone and click on the Updates tab.

At the bottom of the channels section, click on the plus icon, then the Create Channel option will appear.

You will notice guidelines and instructions pertaining to the Channels feature after selecting this option; read them through and then select "Continue."

Then select the channel icon while also writing its name and description.

When the process is complete, click on Create Channel.
