Not a new political party, but a new political thought

Readers: Today there is news of a new political party in Pakistan which is attributed to former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail and former Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.

There is no doubt about their professional abilities, political experience and concern for the country and the nation, but in order to run the political parties keeping the political culture of Pakistan in front, apart from these abilities and qualities, they also need the backing of money and power. Apart from this, those who come to power with the support of any other power can never make independent decisions, which these masters will also experience well. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been the Prime Minister of Pakistan and we have heard him often express his unpleasant experiences and helplessness.

Instead of forming a new political party, there is a need to democratize the already existing political parties and assign them to principled politics to take over the work of national prosperity and development from them and unite them on a national development manifesto. They should be convinced that instead of taking revenge on democracy on the basis of their mutual differences, they should correct their past mistakes by reforming themselves and each other and strengthen it by protecting the state and institutions from anti-democratic thoughts. Bakshi. What we need is not a new political party, but a new political thought. Therefore, what is needed in Pakistan at this time is not a political party, but a new political thought that binds politicians to principled politics and democratic values.

They should use politics to serve the country and nation instead of their personal interests and should not become a tool of undemocratic powers. There is a need to protect the skills of politicians by becoming a bridge of communication. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been the former Prime Minister. Together, play the role of a bridge between them and ensure the supremacy of the Constitution by convincing them so that the national capabilities can be spent on national development and prosperity instead of being wasted in mutual conflict.

In my opinion, if they form a political party, they will do their own political harm. Muftah Ismail can prepare an economic plan together with economic experts on which the political parties can be trusted and forget their mutual differences for the prosperity of the country. And for development, it should be agreed upon and such a plan of action should be arranged by which every political party can be given a share in the government for public service at the provincial and national level according to its mandate.

At this time, there is no need to form a political party, but all the parties should take practical measures to save the people from inflation. This is urgently needed. When the caretaker government increased the price of petrol to Rs 58, the price of everything including Pakistan Railways tickets was increased across the country. and the reason was attributed to the increase in the prices of petroleum products.

During the caretaker government, the prices of all the items of daily use including rice, sugar and flour, ghee, oil, vegetables were arbitrarily increased by traders and big companies and later this increase continued to increase. The prices of fruits were also increased. Compared to meat, chicken and fish, the poor meet their needs with vegetables, but after the reduction in the prices of onions, potatoes and chillies in October, the prices of pulses have already increased and now vegetables. They are also far from the reach of the poor. In October, the government cut petrol prices by Rs 48 per litre, reducing the price of sugar in the country from Rs 200 to Rs 150 per kg, but bakers and confectioners, who are quick to raise prices, did not reduce the price. Rice, which had become very expensive, became cheaper due to reduced sales, but it is negligible.

The daily use items which include vegetables, pulses, bakery items and fruits are not controlled by the administration anywhere except in Punjab. The responsibility of the caretaker Prime Minister and Chief Ministers was only to issue a statement that after the reduction in the prices of petroleum products, the benefits of the reduction in prices would be passed on to the people. But this did not happen. The people did not benefit from the reduction in prices, but the profiteers did not reduce the prices and increased their profits. Pakistan Railways also increased the fare twice during the caretaker period, but when the price of diesel decreased, the country did not reduce the fare. Why did the transporters reduce the fare?

The officials and the posh class are responsible for the increase in inflation. If they ever go shopping, they don't ask for the price and pay the asking price to the shopkeepers after ordering. Just as the caretaker government has stopped gas and electricity theft and arrears in order to reduce government losses. A record of strictness and fines has been made for recovery In this way, the provincial caretaker governments also take real legal actions against the high street sellers, hoarders and those who sell expensive goods to the public in their provinces, raids and arrest the illegal profiteers and put them in jails in addition to fines. can be controlled to some extent and the public can be given relief from rising inflation.
