Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry and Ali Zia Bajwa of Lahore High Court heard the appeals of Abid Malhi and Shafqat Bagaki, accused in the Sialkot Motorway rape case.
The prosecution sought time from the court to present its arguments, which was granted by the Lahore High Court and the hearing was adjourned for 10 days.
It should be noted that the Anti-Terrorism Court had sentenced Abid Malhi and Shafqat Baga to death in March 2021. Both criminals had filed appeals in the High Court against the trial court's decision.
