Ishaq Dar appointed Chairman of Election Cell of (N) League

Lahore: Ishaq Dar, a former finance minister, was named chairman of the electoral cell by the Muslim League (N).


Spokesman for the Muslim League (N), Maryam Aurangzeb, affirmed that Ishaq Dar has been named chairman of the election cell.


Maryam Aurangzeb declared that the party's election efforts will pick up speed with Ishaq Dar's appointment, and all associated tasks, such as keeping an eye on election regulations, will be finished promptly.


It should be noted that Ishaq Dar was also the head of the parliamentary committee that drafted the Election Act 2017.
