Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index made record after record and ended the business by recording the highest level of the business day.


On the first day of the business week on the Pakistan Stock Exchange today, the 100 index rose by 737 points to close at 53860 points, the highest level at the close of business.


At one point during today's trade, the 100 index stood at 53944 points, a distance of 56 points from 54000, while the 100 index's low for the day was 53166.



During the business day, 54 crore 64 lakh shares were traded, the value of which was more than 17 billion 90 crore rupees. The market capitalization has increased by Rs 93 billion today and the market capitalization at the close of business is Rs 7770 billion.
