Imran Khan withdraws from intra-party election, Barrister Gauhar nominated as candidate of Chairman PTI
Senator Ali Zafar says that Barrister Gauhar will be a candidate for the chairmanship of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf in the intra-party election.
Senator Ali Zafar, while holding a press conference with Barrister Gohar, said that the Election Commission of Pakistan had ordered an intra-party election.
Senator Ali Zafar said that the Election Commission has changed the oral decision into a written decision.
Ali Zafar said that Chairman PTI is the real PTI, Chairman PTI Imran Khan is not contesting intra-party elections, but Imran Khan has given his approval to hold intra-party elections. The name is Barrister Gauhar.
On the other hand, Barrister Gohar said, I am grateful to Chairman PT Imran Khan for approving my name for the party chairman. Whether or not I am out, I will take responsibility until Khan Sahib returns respectfully, Khan Sahib is our leader whether he is inside or outside the jail. PTI is the same, our struggle is the same as Khan Sahib's.
Prior to this, Latif Khosa stated that Imran Khan had stated categorically that there would be no minus one while speaking outside of Adiala Jail. Barrister Ali Zafar and Barrister Gohar had some miscommunication; I am the Chairman PTI's candidate.
