Islamabad: Former General Secretary of PTI Asad Umar appeared before the Commission in the case of insulting the Election Commission.


A four-member bench headed by Election Commission member Nisar Durrani heard the case of insulting the Election Commission and the Chief Election Commissioner against Chairman PTI, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry, in which Asad Umar appeared before the Election Commission.


During the hearing, the Member Election Commission spoke to Asad Umar that he never comes and the lawyer never comes. On this Asad Umar said that I have left politics too, I am submitting a statement.


Member Election Commission said that you should do politics.


Later, Asad Umar submitted a statement to the Election Commission, on which the member of the Election Commission said that he is giving orders on Asad Umar's issue.


The Election Commission postponed the hearing of contempt of court cases till December 6.
