Google's Tribute to 'Uncle Sargam' on 78th Birth Anniversary

On the occasion of the 78th birthday of well-known comedian Farooq Qaiser, known as 'Uncle Sargam', Google also made a doodle in his name.


Google has released a special doodle on the occasion of Farooq Qaiser's birthday, in which a picture of his famous thin tamasha character 'Uncle Sargam' can be seen on an old TV.



Farooq Qaiser was born on October 31, 1945 in Sialkot, Punjab.


His famous TV shows were Kalyan, Sargam Sargam and Docktime, but he rose to fame with the role of Uncle Sargam in PTV's popular show 'Kalyan'.



Farooq Qaiser was suffering from heart disease, he passed away on May 14, 2021.
