Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has announced a holiday on November 9 along with Iqbal Day on November 10 on Friday in view of air pollution in Lahore, on which day all educational institutions will remain closed.
Addressing the press conference, the Chief Minister said that all schools and offices will remain closed on Friday, November 10. Thursday, November 9 is a holiday across the country. Pakistan is facing problems due to burning of crops in India. It is also creating problems for Pakistan. The decision will be reported in Lahore, Division, Wazirabad, efforts are being made to reduce air pollution, hotels and cinemas will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all parks will also be closed for three days. Public transport will continue to operate as usual, people should go out of Lahore for a few days, eye diseases, breathing problems due to air pollution, the decision will apply only for this week, the measures are aimed at smog. The situation has to be controlled.
Chief Minister Punjab said that public transport will continue to run as usual, eye diseases, breathing problems are being faced due to air pollution, marriage halls, take-away hotels will remain open as usual, markets will remain closed on Saturday.
