The Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammad bin Abdulrahman al-Sani, said that efforts are underway to release the hostages held in Gaza.


According to foreign media reports, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Sani and European Union foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell held a joint press conference in Doha on Sunday.


On this occasion, the Qatari Prime Minister said that he is now more confident that a deal can be reached between Hamas and Israel for the release of the hostages. He discussed an immediate ceasefire in Gaza with Joseph Borrell.


The Qatari Prime Minister said that what happened in the Shifa Hospital in Gaza is a crime, efforts are ongoing to release the hostages held in Gaza, the remaining challenges in the negotiations for the release of the hostages are very minor.


On the other hand, the American newspaper has claimed that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a 5-day ceasefire in Gaza.


The Washington Post report claims that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a US-backed ceasefire deal.


According to The Washington Post, the parties have decided to free the hostages in exchange for a five-day cease-fire in Gaza.


However, there has been no reaction from the Israeli authorities to the American newspaper's report, however, in a statement issued by the White House spokesman, denying the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, it has been said that the US both sides. Efforts are being made to reach an agreement between them.
