According to the Interior Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a list of Afghan residents of the Ismaili community illegally residing in Pakistan has been prepared.
A letter from the Ministry of Interior has been received by the Home Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa asking that people belonging to the Afghan Ismaili community not be arrested until further notice.
According to the Interior Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the arrest of 32 people of the Ismaili community residing in Chitral was stopped.
The Home Department of KP says that the Canadian government is considering to resettle the Ismailis and formal actions will be started soon in this regard.
It should be noted that the return of illegally residing foreign citizens to their homeland is ongoing.
According to the Interior Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3,605 foreigners returned home from Torkham border on Friday, including 810 women and 1,453 children.
KP Interior Department says that more than 2 lakh illegal foreigners have returned home so far.
